hehits bottom set but I still can't fold because I am cash game fish!!

either that or you have come up against Fergus8 and he has called your pre-flop raise with 9 - 2 because he thought it was blackjack and then realised it was poker and hit two pair and sets you in!

We've all been there:-

For arguments sake this is a full ring game, 3/6NLHE the players involved in the hand including you have about $600 each in front of them

-We pick up AA in early position and raise 4x bb preflop and get 2 callers.
-Flop is 962 rainbow
-We bet 2/3rds size of the pot on the flop
-1st caller folds, seconds player moves all in.

What do you do?

I can't lay these hands down and keep getting busted by flopped sets what about everyone else?

If he's a solid player I'd definitely consider folding, but I'd probably still call in this situation as he could easily hold T-T, J-J, 7-8 suited, or maybe even A-9. True, he could have hit a set, but if he's a solid player then I'd expect him to smoothcall and try to trap you further, especially if you raised preflop and can hold the overpair.

Against an unknown player this is a fold.  If he is overplaying TT etc, you will get his money eventually, but at the moment he is charging too much for this info.

I struggle with nl cash as well but am beginning to learn that you need a really good reason to stack off with one pair.
