Recently I've been wondering about what kind of impression I give off on this site.  People who know me in real life know I have a pretty dry sense of humour.  However, on here I've found myself several times over the past few months being totally misinterpreted when adding what, in my mind, are 'humourous' comments to posts, and having to explain, backtrack etc which is a headache!  What is concerning me now is all the times when those posts maybe haven't been picked up on publicaly/replied to etc, but that people might have got an impression of me as being a real arsehole.

I know I probably shouldn't really worry about it, but ultimately I'm afraid I do care what people think of me!

So I'm just curious I guess.  Am I being paranoid or do I need to adapt my posting style to make sure I fully explain any nuances I might be trying to convey?

Dont worry claw, I think we are all misinterpreted at times. There are some very sensitive readers on blonde, and whilst I am inclined to say over-sensitive, the medium of text does little to convey all those tells which are so important in conversation to guage a persons intention and manner.

I've never found you anything but bubbly and humourous and I don't think you have anything to worry about. There are far worse culprits for putting their feet into it around here and coming across as an arsehole where it was never intended to be.

You are fine on the forum, it's how people think of you at the tables that you have to be worried about  Cheesy

Sometimes things do get misinterpreted, but if you start to worry you end up not posting. Don't worry about, I don't.

Don't be silly Claw.

You have things to say that are interesting and relevent and contribute to that which is Blonde as much as anyone.

Your Banter with Mikky over the last few days is a prime example - and you have both managed to bring a smile to my face lots of times over the last few days - something which under current circumstances has been a welcome relief.

Now bugger off and practice your Heads Up.
