I had a bad cramp in my left foot a couple of weeks ago and everytime i tried to stretch it my toes and the back of my leg would seize up.

Then for the past week week Ive noticed that Ive lost control of the bottom of my left foot whilst walking, my right foot is silent but my left foot slams down and it feels as though i cant control it too well from the ankle down.

Then last night i noticed that the lower part of my leg and ankle feels numb, just a little patch above my ankle feels as though its been injected with that stuff they inject you with at the dentist.

someone said Ive damaged the nerves, any ideas?

p.s get a foot spa for your feet thumbs up

I caught Trench Foot at Glastonbury about 10 years ago (Doc said it was first case he had heard of for years) and all the creams lotions and potions they tried - Vinegar and air they the kiddies.

for athletes foot, get some foot powder. that sould do the trick. ive saw a one apllication cream on tv that cures it. if all else fails, pee on your feet every day. the amonia in the urine apparently kills the fungus.

sounds like you got an injury. go to the docs just incase.

Bolt, sounds like it could be a collapsed foot arch, special inner soles from a podiatrist would help.

I go to the chiropodist every couple of months to get my feet checked.  About five years ago, I lost control of my ankles for a few weeks. It was diabetes related and I was really worried.  There was no warning, it just happened over night and the next morning my feet weren't responding. I made a appointment that morning with my contact at the hospital, he said it was a condition commonly known as "drop foot". He said it can sometimes effect diabetics and should gradually go away after a couple of months. Thankfully they returned to normal alot sooner than that. Very scary though.

I would go see the doc bolt

John, get 1% lamisil cream or spray from chemist. It should clear up in a few days.

Bolt this is too strange
I am having exactly the same symptoms.  I am off to see the neurologist on wednesday.  I cannot raise my left foot.  toe movement is restricted and tops of both my feet are numb.  I suspect it is nerve damage , in my case possibly brought on by drink (I cane it too much). get it checked out as soon as possible bolt.  I have had the symptoms for 5/6 weeks now and no improvement.  I will let you know what doc says about my feet on weds.

Thanks for the update mate. hope it goes well.

TBH things like this scare the shit out of me and i hate hospitals so ive decided to try and forget about it and as long as i can walk on it i wont worry about it any more, probably stupid but it will cause me more problams worrying about it all the time.
