I am being stalked by some bird from myspace.  A couple of weeks ago, I bumped into an old Friend from School. I hadn't seen this person for years and he gave me his email address.  However I misplaced the address and had no idea how to get in contact again as I didn't know where he lived.  There was a very important thing I needed to tell him about a job opportunity I could arrange for him the following week.  I tried to put myself in his shoes and find a way to contact him.  After trying various methods, someone told me about myspace.  After a few hours messing about setting the thing up, I ran a search and sure enough he was on there.  In the end he didn't get the job.

I didn't think anymore of the site until three nights ago.  When checking my emails, there was a message alert telling me I had mail on myspace, thinking it was my mate, I logged on.  It turned out to be from some bird in Glasgow.  I am not sure how myspace works or how she could send me a email.  From her profile she looks very nice. I actually thought it was a wind up and one of my mates had found a picture of an attractive bird and was pretending to be them.  She is however a genuine person and not just a trick to fool the Worlds number 1 gullible person  ( Me  Cheesy )

I replied and said thanks for contacting me, blah, blah blah, the usual chit chat.

Now she has my email address ( I foolishly didn't conceal this from the public )  and is bugging me seriously.  I am too polite to tell her to beat it.  To be honest she is a bit to forward for my liking and has asked to come and meet her in Glasgow.  She send me a bunch of pics of herself from a dating site she is a member of ( not the kind of pics you want to leave laying around  Cheesy ).
This is one of the comments that scared me the most from her emails  " I want to meet a good guy and I have a feeling you are it ".  " We can meet and who knows what will happen "  The reply I sent her was the most boring reply ever, I had no idea what to say to someone I knew nothing about  and was just being polite by replying.

My main concern is she knows my name and email address. I have had 9 emails in a day.  Why she wants to send emails to me, I have no idea.  I have only sent one initial reply and it was seriously boring.

I remember tanks post a while back ( Bunny Boiler ) and I am reminded of that now.

Don't get me wrong, she is a very attractive girl and seems fairly bright. But she is way to outgoing, insane and I know nothing about her.

How do I tell her to get lost without upsetting her?   She keeps sending me emails as if I have known her my whole life telling me things I am not sure I should be hearing ( I am an innocent young guy  Cheesy ).

I just want rid of her.  I am going to go and delete the myspace thing tonight.

Is there a nice way to tell her no thanks?

Sark, you are priceless  Cheesy An attractive woman sends you rude pics of herself and says let's meet up and your first thought is: Hmmm, how can I get rid of her? Brilliant!

I did consider that.  But decided to keep the stalker instead.  I don't like hurting people's feelings if I can avoid it.

lol, me too thumbs up

No addy, but just the pics!  Cheesy

Why not meet her the once, what have you got to lose? Just make sure it is in neutral territory and don't give out your address.

PS Check for the adam's apple as well.  Cheesy

Tell her you and your ex have met up and had a chat and decided to give things another go, tell her how wonderful it was to chat to her and express how much you hope she finds the someone she deserves.

Yea, that is a good idea. I didn't think of that, normally I have several excuses lined up for different situations that may occur throughout the day. However, I have never been stalked before and couldn't come up with a decent story to get rid of her.  I will try that one.

I don't want to upset her, apart from being insane, she is rather nice  Cheesy .

I can't release her name unfortunately.
