Campbell gone. Reyes wanting out. Cole might as well have gone - to London championship rivals no less.

What is happening? I would have thought after Henry's decision to stay and the capture of Rosicky things were looking up.

I didn't think it could get worse than the start of last season for the gunners but it seems Wenger has a lot of work to do not to be in that position again.

Spurs for 4th?

Ok let's not get ridiculous....! Cheesy

You sound as though you have been swallowing everything written in The Sun.

PS Henry is still with us and we have won all of our pre-season games, unlike some who lost their last one 5-0  Cheesy

i dont think things are quite as bad as you make out.

campbell gone --- Arsenal released sol campbell he didnt just go. Unfortunatley we do not have a bottomless pit like chelsea and could not afford to keep paying campbell £60k to sit on the bench.

cole going??  hopefully yes. he has not reproduced his best form since this tapping up story surfaced. i would much prefer to have a player of cole's ability than not but if he is not commited to the club then so long.

reyes going?? maybe. Reyes has the potential to be one of the best players in the world.........but not in england. There are alot of arsenal fans who say that he underacheives and to be honest he does, because he could be so good, unfortunatley the PL doesnt suit him or visa versa.

going back to cole leaving. £25m for a left back who hardly played last season, yes he could be the best left back in the world but we hardly missed him in europe last year. infact we only conceded in the games he played. there is a rumour going around that gallas is coming from chelsea as part of the deal and also SWP is included in it.

i would swap those 2 for cole anyday. if SWP does not come then i think Franc Ribery will. add that to the fact that henry is staying, fabregas is staying and improving and growing with age, aswell as toure, eboue, van persie im actually quite optimisic about the new season.

Shhh! That 5-0 never happened!

Do you think Cole and Reyes will stay? I hope Cole doesn't go to Chelsea.

I agree with most of that.

Campbell? Past it.

Reyes - no desire for the club and not that great in this league.

Cole - replaceable within your own squad and the money will buy 2 class players (Gallas and Ribery)

However the last line was ridiculous!  Cheesy

Liverpool to finish above the Arse again methinks...

it just means the joy of seeing you lose in europe will have to wait a bit longer ....  in fact i would like you to get to the final again ..as long as its the same result as last time.
