Im still stunned as im writing this. a few of you know that my mum passed away recently. Its been devastating and I don't think it will ever stop being that way. I miss her so much and am totally at a loss.
My mum loved space, as I do, and she used to say that one day she would be taken away from it all by a spaceman. I hope she was Smiley
Anyway Mel and Tank have done the most wonderful thing you can ever imagine and they have named a star after my mum. they have the picture for me and the co-ordinates of where the star can be found. ill need to get out my telescope:) i really cant believe their kindness and thoughtfulness and last night when Tank told me, I was very tearful, but the tears were happy ones. I think you have helped me heal just a little and I will never ever forget your kindness. The 2 of you have hearts of gold. I don't know what else to say but I am still stunned.

a million thank you's to you both

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I hope time is a healer.

As for yours and your mum’s passion for space and the cosmos etc, I must tell you of a series that is currently being shown here in the US. The series is called Cosmos and actually goes back to the 70’s but has been recently digitally revamped. I must also mention the presenter who is called Carl Sagan. Carl sadly passed away around 1997 but listening to this man describe his passion for life and of the cosmos will bring tears to your eyes. He is like a little boy who is in total awe of everything that goes into forming the cosmos - try and watch this series if you can. In fact, if you visit this link   http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=pd_sl_aw_tops-1_blended_11403547_2/103-2852637-4109411?search-alias=aps&keywords=cosmos%20carl%20sagan - it has details of the series and is available on DVD.

BTW, Carl had his ashes launched into space and will orbit the earth for a further 35 years - both my wife and I are looking into doing the same.
