Trevor Reardon's Ladies Let Him Down:

Preflop, it limped to him, and a little raise got it heads up between him and Ali Mallu.
Flop:    A little bet from Ali must have seemed like a good opportunity for Trevor, who held .  But the flop had hit Ali's even harder, and it all, unsurprisingly, went in, knocking Trevor out and making Ali even more dangerous.

JP is retelling his tales of woe.

The hand that crippled him went as follows:

Queen high flop with two hearts.

JP has the flush draw and MB holds the Queen.

MB bets, JP calls.

Ten turn brings JP a pair, but no flush. MB makes two pair though with his Q-T

JP checks, MB bets, and JP raised. MB dwells before flat calling.

River came a King, still no heart, but JP moves all-in, trying to represent a staight (J-9), but MB is having none of it and calls (although he did dwell for a good five minutes before finally making the call)

Dixie Dean (not the ex-Everton footballer), who is currently sharing a table with Lord Wernick and Mike Magee is on  18,425.

We're having a spot of bother with our photos, but we should have it sorted soon.

When we do, I'll upload this piccie of Mr Dean I just took. He looks very jolly.

Well done dad keep up the good work we're all rooting for you here, Your

uh-oh, Eric Barker is OUT after being officially Mallued, big time!

Eric raises to 600, tikay calls with his Pocket Sixes, and Mallu makes it 3,600.

Eric moves all-in for another 4k, tikay folds, and Mallu calls.

Eric flips A-K and Mallu shows...

drum roll please...

8-3 off

And of course, 4 clubs on the board and Maullu takes it down with the mighty 3 of clubs.

OUCH!

Matthew Ansell and Dixie Dean see a flop of three clubs

1.5k in the pot.

Dean bets 850 and Ansell folds, showing the Ace of Clubs in the process.

Barry Neville is up to 30k after Julian Adamson doubled him through.

Flop =

Barry bet the turn and Julian moved all-in. Barry makes an instant call.

Barry =

Julian =

Barry seems somewhat different these days, slighty more mellow I reckon. Anyhow, he's smiling and in good spirits, so good luck to him. Deserves some luck!

Some of you may have noticed that there are two Dave Clarks playing today.

Not sure what happened to the other three.
