The blinds have just gone up to 150/300 with an average stack of 14,500
There're 66 players remaining, which suggests that they're dropping pretty rapidly. That's almost a third of the field gone already.
If I'd said that in Vegas we'd still have 3000 left.

And I think Dale Greenleaf wanted to be included too.

It appears as though we may have lost David Dean.
His table split up not too long ago, so he will have moved seats.
I'll have another quick look around for him before confirming an exit.

It's time for a mini gallery of chip leaders, dontcha reckon...
Firstly, the Harrises - Mark (above) and moodily lit Sid (below) who are both in the top ten currently. Just saw Sid take 2k out of Julian Thew's remaining 5k after calling his preflop raise with 78o and flopping two sevens... can't miss, according to Tikay. Who also can't miss.
I just thought of something. If both Sid and Tikay can't miss, and they play against each other, is that one of those "Unstoppable force/immoveable object" type scenarios, or would it always be split pot?

These blondeites sure get around. Here's 'Jack', more commonly known as Richard Owen.
He's from Wales, but please don't hold that against him.
Eek, I feel like Anne Robinson now.
He's on 9,200 by the way.
Kojak in the foreground is also running well.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

It looks like Arshad 'mad m3' is our chip leader with just over 40k.
Kev has renicknamed him Frankenstein. I can't remember the reasoning, but I'm sure it was hilarious.

Phil Cooklin takes a crushing blow with
against Terry Fletcher's
- 7k changes hands and doubles the latter up while taking the former down to a precariously short stack.

Sorry David Dean fans, but I can't see him anywhere which means that he has been eliminated from today's comp.

Barry Neville announces, "40 large." Challenging the chip leader, if not metamorphosing into him. Here he is, with a close-up of his stack pre-the last additions. The golf tee he found under Snoopy's table, and proceeded to adopt it as some kind of card marker, which seems, if you believe in such things, to have brought him luck.

Stand back Arshad, there's a new man on campus, and he's just broken the 50k mark.
Play folds round to the Sid Harris who makes up the small blind.
Matthew Ansell, in the big blind, bets out, and Sid calls.
Flop =
Sid bets, Ansell raises, Sid calls.
Turn =
All the chips go hurtling in.
Ansell reveals
Sid turns over
River =
All the chips go to Sid Harris who is taking an age to stack up what looks like a massive 52k.
Meanwhile, Ansell has a right cob on and Alli Mallu turns over an Ace from the burn cards, which probably didn't make Ansell feel too much better.
He's still in though, but struggling slighty with 1,850.
Ansell is the young fellow in the foreground, although you'd be forgiven for assuming that it's the ifm looklike at the back. He wasn't even in the hand and he's distressed.

Ash Hussain is yoyoing a bit today, but still managing to hover around the 35-40k mark.
He's just taken down a several k pot with Pocket Rockets against Jim Reid's K-Q off on a 5-6-K-T-K board.

Barry Neville has taken a hit, losing 7.5k in the process.
He flopped a staight (J-9) on an 8-T-Q all clubs flop, but Mateyboy rivered a King High flush (K-Q) to take the pot away from Barry.
"He's gone tut t'other table now!" rants our vinni
