I hate AK but perhaps this fold was bad....

I have just re-read the hand and I had only 3400 to call, so my fold was probably dumb, but i thought that perhaps I am against 2 big pairs at least. yes i was wrong but what if they had QQ/JJ? would I then should still call it?

Because of the player to act behind you you cannot call preflop . You should be taking godstars stack into account as he has already called off 1/4 of his stack and is giong nowhere., you say it 's only 3400 more to call but in fact it wont be because if you call then godstar has to move in. ( i hate his play here with 66) . I think the A on the flop is making you question your play , yes its a tight fold but you have enough chips to be taking pots without showdowns which is what you want to be doing.

You say what if they had jj and qq? This is christmas for Ak as you are getting a HUGE overlay on a 50/50 . Given the size of you opponents stacks I think the fold is too tight Ak is never far enough behind and although you  have to commmit 50% of your stack it's an opportunity to take out 2 players and get yourself a nice chunk of change. If you lose its not the end of the world but if you win then the chip gathering power you have with your new stack in the later stages of a tournament is massive.

now that is a different kettle of kipper, and is far more subjective, and i would have to be actually playing myself to actually make a judgement of whether AK was infront for all of my chips. why I say push all in preflop is because the flat callers call could mean anything from a small pair to sooted connectors and i wouldn't expect him to get cute with AA or KK here. Also the trpe of player who would flat call with QQ or JJ here are usually not the type of players which would call your all in re-raise, the flat caller would more than likely put you on a monster.
