Afternoon Jen and Snoopy,

I see the UK updates are far easier to carry out than the vegas ones :-)  Superb job as usual, much appreciated by everyone at blonde im sure

PAB!  Welcome back sir... a series of insightful questions on their way to you Wink ; thanks for your support.  Look forward to a tipsy cash game sometime here...

Im sure something will be arranged at BB3, I know Aaron is keen to lose more money, and ive heard flushy is never one to turn down a drunken game, :-)

And with that, the final two tables are being redrawn...

Bear in mind they're only paying 9 places, as follows:

1  £50,400
2  £28,800
3  £19,400
4  £13,700
5  £10,100
6   £6,500
7   £5,800
8   £5,000
9   £4,300

If I may take the liberty to post a reminder

Quick, Snoops, ban him, he's after your job!

No way, snoops is irreplacable!

I've got to say the action, even with Mallu and Courtney with many of the chips, has slowed right down.  Blinds are currently 1,500/3,000 so I'm guessing the pressure is being felt most acutely by Rumit.

One pot which got to showdown involved Lalit Khajuria on the button, and big blind Ali Mallu.  On a board of 10 K 6 6 10 (so either way there was a rivered Ten) I saw Ali picking up a 16k pot, .showing , and Lalit shaking his head.  Still smiling, though.

Rumit doubles up from a classic coin flip situation.

Rumit raised an extra 5k from the small blind, Lalit moved all-in and Rumit called.

Rumit = J-J, Lalit = A-K

Board = Q-Q-8-J-4

Rumit is shoots up to around 70k

Ash Hussain raises to 10k preflop, Dave Clarke calls in the small blind.

Flop = Two Clubs

Clarke checks, Hussain moves in for around 30k, Clarke folds.

Still pretty slow going here.

Just in case you were wondering, and I'm sure you all were, David Courtney from Enfield runs a carpet fitting business.

After about a half hour of raise-y pass-y stuff, Ash has a go, raising to 9k.  Luke Patten flat calls in position and the blinds get out of the way.
Flop:  Two Clubs   Ash immediately moves in for his 40-odd thousand, and Luke calls (or, more precisely, plonks in a big old stack of yellows in a confident fashion).
Fair enough, he shows , while Ash's isn't without hope...
Turn:  Two Diamonds  Now less hopeful
River:    And all hope fades as Luke hits the nut flush.

So Ash Hussain is the 9th place finisher, winning £4,300
