Need a moan

last week has been one of the worst runs Ive had, now i know i play bad sometimes but this is leveled out with some good play and i make the odd pound but man its been tough Ive had no luck thats not true Ive had plenty of bad luck the amount of times my AK QA has been cracked by Arag its been far more than 3 times out of 10 ill tell you that much i have been calling the next cards to a T like ill hit my pair on the turn because it gives him a str draw he can hit it on river. sorry about the moan and in no way do i think its all rigged
i just had to get that off my chest its hard losing your whole bank role that you have been building for 10 months in 1 week on 5pound stt again i apologise for the rant i hd to share with people am sure have been in the same pos as my self, think ill take a break for a while and come back when my heads in the right place and see if i can turn that 13pound 50 into something

People who say 'no bad beat stories' are missing the point I think; sometimes we need to vent and it's entirely to the good - extremely therapeutic.
That's my opinion, and why I'm entirely in favour of bad beat forums. The number of times something happens that has me spitting acid and screaming blue murder at the walls... but after a while stomping around the house (my neighbours love me!
) and posting bile on the internet, I calm down, de-steamed and purged of malice and ready to get the fishing rod busy once again.
So I say, keep the faith, sometimes the beats seem insurmountable but make sure you're calm and collected when you next step up - don't let the beats tilt you, don't play angry - and the next good stretch could be right around the corner...

with my bankroll and savings i decided to have the summer off and just relax, sunbathe in the park, go out a lot more, just try to really relax for a couple of months, i needed it!!!!
I decided that all I'd play is the odd big multi, or play one cash game at a higher level than i usually do, just ONE table at a time and make sure that it was all recreational.
6 weeks and -£1700 later it looks like I'll be back to work pretty soon!!!
not that it really matters, the weathers completely gone and theres nothing else to do!!!

however the other day i got rivered by a 2 outer
i didnt even blink
maybe i have reached zen-like status and nothing can affect my ambition to win a $5 extended stt

I agree... same with the £25 deep stack F/O last friday at Cincins... matey boy hits his 4 outer to a full house on the turn after I flopped the nut straight (and went all in because he was being a lucky shite).
I didn't even blink - I just chuckled and said thats poker. I even stayed behind to deal until the break (on a different table
).
If you are playing the right game then people WILL outdraw on you. But when you are in for the long haul you will come out eventually. If only we had unlimited pocket space to carry that unlimited coin...
Its tough. A break can often help and you will return playing better more focused poker.

Ditto, I have been unempolyable for years now. I just need to find a way of being unselfemployable.
