Underlay is too bumpy.... there is a workshop down in the village which makes latex weapons for live roleplayers (dress up as elves and the like) and the foam they use for weapons is the very closed cell poly-whatsitcalled which is used for poker tables. Dirt cheap too, less than a fiver for a couple of metres Smiley

Billy - you want to see these fantasy roleplayers in action - it's hillarious....

Rubber swords and axes are bad enough, but to see them in a public park with the ubergeeky one who plays the wizzard throwing a handful of sand and glitter at another player & screaming "That's a petrification spell - you're a statue for 5 minutes!!" is hilarious in an "I'm fecking embarrassed for you" way.

We did medieval archery in the same park & always wanted to launch a volley of arrows at them - just to show them what real weapons are like.

lolol...

Surreal!

Can't imagine anything like that going on in a park by me. I think dodging arrows would be the least of their worries. The kids round here carry shooters and ride those silly mini motor bikes. Funny how 'wanna-be' gangstas round here look like something... 'straight out of a comic book' (Name the film this quote comes from).

Quote was from Enter the Dragon.  Cool

The park I'm talking about is a country park a few miles outside Glasgow - too much work for most Neds to get there, so it's still quite nice.
