I dropped a $1,000 Cash Chip from the Rio in the back of a taxi....sigh.

And I left my phone in a Taxi in Deauville, but traced the taxi & found the 'phone!

Sadly, my friend, that was not the case.

Oh and I was with someone at the time, and I don't think she would have been impressed if I had indulged in that way.

The most money I ever lost was buying Newcastle United shares. Kenny Dalglish had been appointed as manager and I was sure they were going to win trophies, the shares would shoot up and i would make loads.
Sadly they turned out to be a load of rubbish and the shares went down like an Italian in the penalty area, as did my prospects of a fortune.

Never, but I did find £80 quid in the street today.

Result  thumbs up

(Edit - not really, poor attempt at a joke)

I'm a finder rather than a loser.  I've found several notes blowing around on the street, especially when I was a bit younger, usually on a Friday or Saturday night.  I remember attending a rugby game once and on the drive home spotted a fifty blowing down a dual carriageway, as we were stopped at traffic lights.  It paid for a rather large Indian meal that evening  Cheesy

I don't remember losing cash but I've had a few fivers and tenners washed in jeans
