For those of you interested, I have now finished my BLOG on the WSOP

A little late I know, but having exited from the main event, I didnt feel like doing it - a view shared by many other people I spoke to.

But it is now done for anyone wishing to read.

Well for the record you were runner up  but as the winner was american then you were the top placed European and therefore classed as European champion.......... Wink

Straddle boy ?!?!? pray tell Huh?

He made very occasional straddle bets in some cash games, much to the annoyance of the locals.

Who was he straddling whilst betting? Do they allow that in the casino?

Why didn't you come and see for yourself Charmaine?  Children?

I flew Mrs Moves out for a few days.  It disrupted my poker playing no end!

UTG can double the Big Blind - This is another Blind Bet, but then has the option of raising BEFORE the flop.

Example (and this DID happen)

SB $1
BB $2
Me (UTG) straddle $4 (blind)
all in all 7 callers of $4
Preflop my option and I riase $25 (still blind)
4 callers
Flop comes
I bet $50 (still blind)
2 callers
Turn card comes
I move all in (still blind)
They fold and I win a $200+ pot Smiley
