Beginners guide?
«

Hi guys,
We’ve got an IT tech in our office who wants to learn how to play poker, he’s never played before. Does anyone know of anywhere that has the basic rules displayed?
Cheers

True he wants to ignore some of the "moves" by players such as Robertfish, Limpet and Leighton but if he concentrates on the rest of us he'll be in good stead

I think the Hendon Mob's beginners guide on their website is pretty good.

i'm sure when I first joined Blonde there was a beginner's guide on the main site somewhere, but I can't find it now.
if he wants to know the real basics I've got a DVD sitting in my desk here that I bought myself at Christmas which I can send you if you want - it is VERY basic though.

He's gone now. He came in to do a test on our systems for two hours, and with twenty minutes left he decides to tell me he wants to know about poker!! Some people.
Packed him off with a link to the beginners guide on the mob site and the address for the forum here. Told him he could ask anything on here and he'd be sorted out, as long as he stayed away from Kev.
