For all the Scottish Blondeites.

Scottish airline Flyglobespan just launched direct flights from Glasgow to Las Vegas starting in February next year.

Blonde Bash 4 at The Bellagio anyone?  Cool

Woo good news for the northern half of Britain (well, from Manchester up) cos it means we don't have to venture into the hells kitchen that is the south of England!

Or change in Chicago.

Alas the Chicago flights are no more after this summer. American Airlines dropped the route.

There is still the summer option of going via Philadelphia with US Airways, or Continental year round from Glasgow and Edinburgh via New York, or Delta from Edinburgh via Atlanta.

But I'd skip all of them for the chance to step on a plane at McCarran, off at Glasgow, and straight into a taxi home for a long sleep!

I was sorta jesting about The Bellagio. I did swanky new Vegas last time, kinda fancy somewhere a bit more old school  (and affordable!) for my next trip.

Billy if you check on Expedia the direct flights are only about £30 more expensive than flying via New York with Continental on those dates.
