Apologies, Jen and I thought he was from Republic of Ireland.

It wasn't anything malicious on our parts.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Very refreshing compared to the American dominated forums.

I'm a  (very) small stakes FR NL internet cashgame grinder who's determined to learn to play tourneys.

Do you know anything about John Magill? Are you a friend of his?

The Richard Gryko interview was also due to him being a regular player at Jen's local hangout, thereby making him more accessible for interviews.

Welcome to blonde.  thumbs up

Grafter, there's a wealth of advice both on "tournament tips" on the home page and on various threads on the forum

If you can't find what you are after when you take a look around, just ask!

You'll soon learn who to listen and who...... Cool

I think John Magill is from Antrim Snoops.

I'm not a 100% but sure I read that on here, one of his mates was posting on blonde during WSOP so maybe if you want to interview him could do something through his mate.

Hi Snoopy,

I don't (think I) know him personally. I know of him through the semi defunct http://www.thecavendishclub.com/ which is local to me and that managed to beat the Gutshot into the courtroom and may be re-opening soon if the proprietor is brave/stupid enough.

There's a radio interview linked in this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054979008 (forward to 9 mins in)

Cheers,

That's great. Just trying to find a way of contacting him, even if it's only via email.

Snoopy i just sent John an email on the cavendish forum, explianing that blonde were looking for an interview.  He lives just a few miles down the road from me, and i played with him a few times.   Would be really cool if this could be set up.

Btw, if u go on to thecavendishclub.com    his name is yobnike   and you can pm john  yourself
