I still don't know the circumstances so don't know if he took his own life, sorry if I implied that.  Don't want to do his memory any injustice.

Hi Mad,

no he didn't have a partner or children.  He was an only child and his only family was his mother.  I never met her, but can only imagine how devastated she must be feeling - I hope she has a good support network.

His funeral is tomorrow - it's going to be a tough day.
