During a recent live update there was a problem with uploading photo's due to there not being enough server space, the updaters contacted an admin who created space by deleting files older than 25 days. As a team we would of preferred to have not gone this route but its happenend so we are trying to sort it. Unfortunately i am unable to recover all the photos but have managed to recover about 3000 files that were added between sept 2005 and late march 2006. now for me to go into all the threads putting the files in would take up too much of my time and as 99.9% of the files will never be used again it would in my humble opinion be a waste of my time. However if anyone notices a photo then would like to see is missing please feel free to PM me and i will endeavor to restore it.

there are thousands of places that host files
this is a free FORUM not a file hosting service
it would cost blonde alot of money to increase its bandwidth usage for no benefit
thus i cannot recommend an increase in bandwidth usage to the management
now if you can find a way That it would be financially neutral or positive for blonde to allow bigger files then i would change my views

I thought the rake on the 'blondepoker site' would be paying to improve the forum? Most other forums (poker or non poker) allow for high resolution pictures/animated avatars etc... and they dont have a poker site ($$$) behind them - just a donation button.

we alow animated avatars either that or bundles was a pretty good illusion
blonde has costs that otehr forums dont have likes of sending people to do live updates etc etc etc
which IMHO are more important than allowing pics bigger than 75k
infact we have increased the file size to 75k from the orginal 20k a size i would prefer we got back too
