I'm sorry to say that Heid is no longer able to devote the necessary time to blonde, & has done the honourable thing, & resigned as a blonde Mod.

She has been offered the opportunity to do a part time degree (BA/BSc - Social Sciences - Communications and Media) & this will entail countless hours of daily study. In addition, her job has become extremely demanding, she controls a staff of 45, so there's not really much time to spend Modding on blonde.

So, it's a big thank you from me, on behalf of blonde, her fellow Mods, &, I'm sure, all of you.

Being a Mod is a weird task - the pay is zero, stones get thrown at you whatever happens, but the payment is the satisfaction of helping blonde to grow, & at the same time, keep the special "feel" that's unique to us.

I am sure you will all be able to thank Heid personally at bB3, but in the merantime, your words of appreciation on here will, I'm quite sure, be hugely appreciated.

Replacement(s)? Of course, but let's say "thanks" to Heid properly first, please.

I know from personal experiencing what a demanding job moderating a busy site is, and how thankless a task it is too.
