ah, but these aren't ordinary oven gloves. Oh no. They are 100% towelling lined with steam and grease resistant insulation  |

if you ever forget what they're for, the collander and his friends provide a handy hint.
 exactly why I chose them! there is a corkscrew on the other side. Don't know how easy opening a bottle of wine with them on would be. Perhaps I will conduct an experiment later. |

smart gloves Claire, reminds me I need to buy some after mine caught fire, they're still usable (in a I still burn my hands sorta way, but I'm a man & too lazy to go & buy some so will make do)
