And while im at it why on gods green earth does he not play Defoe?
? Hope he moves away coz he is a superb player and is getting wasted at this club (and yes got him in my dream team also)
Sorry to hijack this thread with my dream team rants
When you have a non creative midfield (like Spurs have at the moment) having Defoe in the team is a mistake, as he needs service. With Keane in the team, he can set up the play more and better than Defoe can.
The team are dishearten with the management because of the sale of Carrick. Spurs are in negotiation with 9 players (Downing, Mido, Neil, Chimbonda, Ben Arfa, Baptista, Woodgate, Malbranque and Martin Petrov) and I was told that we would get 3, but most probably Spurs will end up with 0

He is class. I would have wanted him at Spurs but we went out and bought Zokara instead - who the manager wants to stick on the bench?!?
yeah, youre bets are looking a bit dodgy already!
Not really, Arse are losing and look poor in all honesty
nem, we dont look/ are not playing poorly we are just not finishing at the moment.
i admit sometimes we look a little lightweight which is worring but i think we are just not sharp/fit enough at the moment.
i will be happy when all the ashley cole and reyes shit is sorted too i think that maybe be having an effect.

Eboue looks your best attacking player - which is worrying for you.
The fact that you played so poorly away from home last season. Also, getting use to the size of your new pitch, is going to take time...

i agree which is worrying, wenger has said 10 games but i think he has just said that to not to put pressure on the players.
wembley in the CL springs to mind and we played crap there

Another twist
local radio has it on good authority that Gravesen has signed but Celtic do not wish to announce it
till Petrov signs for Villa. Seems that Celtic announcing they have already bought a replacement for
Stan will weaken their hand when negotiating with the birmingham club.
We'll see!!

yeah nem , its in the region of 35,000 - 40,000 a week - hes on 60,000 at Real but wants to play at the highest level.
and the Champions League offers him that , and 40,000 is not to be sneezed at really by anyones standards.
i think Celtic might try and renegotiate the offer however due to his medical results , so we have to wait and see.

If anyone hijacks this deal its most likely to be Newcastle a la Damian Duff. It could depend NU getting Woodgate on loan, in turn Petrov may end up staying at CP til the January window.
Having said all that Gravesen has only had a medical at Celtic & hes gone back to Denmark so I would expect this to go through sometime tomorrow.

I was thinking that, as the barcodes are the deal hijackers. But he wont move there, especially as Parker plays in his position and is the barcodes captain
