Andy Walker said on the radio Celtic may have paid over the odds for their last 2 signings Hesselink and Gravesen.

since when did 5.5 million for two players with international and european pedigree become over the odds ?

 what a *****.

what is it with ex celtic players who insist on belittling the club at every opportunity

Nicholas , Walker , McLeod and Provan come to mind straight away

No idea, it's unusual to hear ex-gers players doing that to rangers, but I agree, "some" ex-celts seem happy to do it. It's the easier option I suppose.

Charlie Nicolas was on TalkSport this morning and couldn't make up his mind about whether celtic had made good signings or not, tried criticising Celtic for losing stan by saying they couldn't replace him, then shortly afterwards saying that Gravesan was a good replacement.

Andy Walker = plonker
Davie Provan = Bigger Plonker
Charlie Nicholas = T**T

Only decent former Celt who got into the media was Tosh McKinlay, a true supporter of the club a cracking signing and a guy with integrity who gave his job up with Radio Clyde when he came out with information that was later found to be incorrect.  A Man of principle the other tottis heids I have never had time fore spend far to much time pandering to the rags up here!!

Andy is just jealous that he never ever ever ever ever had the quality of Big Jan.

Another piece of transfer genius from Celtic - if true.

Taken from the BBC website:

"BBC Scotland understands that Sunderland will pay Celtic £800,000 for Stanislav Varga and Ross Wallace. "

Personally I reckon thats the best bit of business of the day.

We get Varga for nothing from the Mackems and we get hime off the wage bill and actually manage to get 1.1 million (dependent on appearances)
