Today is the day ... It is a day that i had been dreading for some time, I have been trying to put it to the back of my mind yet knew that it couldnt be supressed and that I would have to accept it and get it over with .

Yes ... its school uniform shopping day !!! .. Dragging a bored 14 year old lad around town trying to get him to try stuff on .... The arguments have been raging all morning ... "Dad, I need an Ecko sports bag, Ben Sherman Shoes, Im not having short sleeved shirts, I need long sleeved ones so i can roll them up". Note the word NEED !!

My reply of "Sod off, we are going to Asda and getting everything under one roof" didnt go down too well LOL.

So there ya go, Its gonna be a stressfull day .... I can just imagine this day being dreaded by parents of teenagers up and down the country LOL..

Like I said at the start .....WISH ME LUCK !!

Easy year for me this year  Cheesy as we moved not long before the start of the summer holidays, all the uniform has only had a few weeks wear. I DO have one trip to make though today and that's to take Caitlin's new shoes back, somehow we've managed to end up with one size 11, and one size 12?!

Just as well we noticed before I packed them off to school tomorrow! lol

Good Luck Kev..........

Davey does the school uniform run, and had this sorted at the start of the hols cos I hate shopping, and I must admit he does a better job than me.

It has made it easier not having the eldest 2 here for the summer holiday's, although been told from Davey's mum our eldest boy Celynd is now in a size 11 shoe not a 10 (adult 11 btw), he is just 13 and nearly 6ft with big feet  Cheesy so new shoes for him.

By the way my kids are 22 and 21, and i'm going out tomorrow to buy my daughter her first INTERVIEW outkit.

So as you can see it never ends..................

AND, its going to be a nightmare, full or arguments....storming off.....counting to 10.....and reconciliations over coffee.

Hate to be smug.....no let's be honest I don't. We did it 2 weeks ago whilst everybody was away. What bliss. Not a single argument and no queue at the shoe shop......
