On BBC1 now there is a programme called " the peoples museum"

its being hosted in the national train museum

just wonder if anyone out there was interested in trains???

the mallard ran the east coast line from kings cross to edinburgh in the 30's  nice streamline shape  based on a buggati and ran at a top speed of 126mph  very impressive

It was a bag of spanners, all GNER Locos were.

Try GWR Locos. Proper Locos, like.

york hosts the largest train museun in the world recieving 3/4 of a million visitors per year

they have attractions ranging from a rocket to a eurostar


i didnt realise there was such a great difference between a 1 and 2 chimney train

Went to Barry Island as a kid.....the sight broke my heart.....knackered out Thomas's everywhere and that was just the people
