I have read a book on " the throne" but only as i found it so enthralling and i could not bear to put it down. My wife game me a stern look afterwards and i was firmly put in my place.  As i am completely under the thumb I refrain from such activities.

Warning first off - maybe TMI for some!

I 'discovered' reading on the lav a couple of years ago. Until then I'd always dismissed it as a 'man thing'.  Anyway, I was away on a hen weekend, sharing a room with a mate of mine.  I hadn't been able to, er, go, for a couple of days, and mentioned it to my mate.  She suggested taking something into the toilet with me to read.  I'm sure I probably gave her a puzzled look, and she explained that her hubby had told her that was why blokes liked to read 'on the job' - helps it along.  Anyway, I thought I had nothing to lose, so off I went to the bathroom with my paperback, emerging a few minutes later a little lighter.

it really works!!!

Well I always keep some reading material in there, for multi-tasking.

It's usually the wine society's current list.

I can't have been the only owner of a wireless laptop to get the urge for a 'sit down' in the middle of a tournament and toddle off to the bathroom, laptop under my arm?
