All-in between Doig (KJ)  and Pav from Doncaster (77)  Ah As

D. doubles through (having a hard time hearing this gentleman's name, but he's on VC, for those in the know)

Joe Beevers all-in with AJ vs 88

Flop 10d two spades
Turn:
River:

Joe '63-rebuys' Beevers is OUT

Russ is all-in with A6
Pav has A3

The board comes: Q K 3 A A which sends a slightly unlucky Russ home in 15th place.

The blinds have risen to 2,500 - 5,000.  The pace looks to be keeping up (there is apparently a blind-reduction on offer for the final table)

Steve Bennet OUT when his pocket Kings are called by the unlikely 10 3 of Ian Bradley.  What can I say.

Steve Meehan  - OUT - Having raised 10k with JQs he got one caller for a flop of K x 6. The other guy bet (putting Steve all-in) and he, hoping he didn't have a King, called.  No King, but pocket ! The Q J fell on the turn and river respectively but that was merely rubbing it in.

Bubble prizes have been generously donated left and right - as follows:
Bubble- large bottle of Martini (me)
$100 in VC account- (Andy Horn)
12th - T-shirt (Adam M)

Isn't that nice?

I think the pre-tourney tourney last night saw a much higher level of blondeite inebriation, actually.  It looks like most came nursing some form of hangover, but if I had to name names it would be Joe Beevers (reasonable excuse for all those rebuys if nothing else).

Ian Bradley doubles up a short stack all in with AsJs by calling with .

Rudders calls an all-in with QJ vs A7off.
The board comes J 8 7 6 6 and another player's out (who will receive a nice free T-shirt courtesy of Adam Mason).  Sorry, with all the commentators, they couldn't between them rustle up this guy's name.  Mr 12th place - if you join the forum, let me know who you were and you'll get the credit you deserve...

The Real Bubble time then.  Who's going to make the final, and who's going to get a bottle of Martini so large it's probably dangerous?

"I'm going to do my winning dance" Pav is all-in but despite a clock being put on a potential caller, there is none and the blinds are up.

Bubble man would like to add that it was his brother-in-law who took him out.  "And he's a b*****d - and you can quote that."  Fair enough.

The final table looks like this:

1 Doig Rudling
2 Peter Katz
3 Carl Jackson
4 Paul Reast
5 Ian Bradley
6 Peter Steele
7 Dave Rose
8 Andyj Horne
9 Mark Bramall
10 Mark Scope

No idea of chip counts at present, but this will be remedied.  Only action so far is a double up for Dave Rose with JJ vs 88

Mark Scope all-in with AQ vs Paul Reast's 88     3 5 10 10... 8 and Paul doubles up with full house.

Peter Steele 10th place finisher - receiving £125

Very short stacked he moved all in and ended up seeing all five with two other players.  They were: three diamonds and one of his opponents had made the King high flush, sending him out first from the final.

To be quite honest, I have been sat here for 10 hours with no real food so my person-dousing skills are fading.  Just enough energy to press keys and watch what's going on in front of me.  Sorry.  I would have loved to have done this (especially for a tenner) but the opportunity simply has not come up. Embarrassed
