anyone ever had labarynthitus

Diagnosed yesterday and its not nice, I had been taking dizzy spells for the last week or so and i thought my sugar levels were down so i was eating chocolate and dinking coke to compensate but to no avail.  So now i feel like ihave had one too many goes on the roundabout every 20 mins. Its not nice.

I had this at BB2 mate which is why I was so ill.

Took about 3 weeks in all to shift, I found lying down was best way to deal with it.

P.S.  Doc prescribed Betahistine Dihydrochloride tablets

I had a quick google for it, drinking water and sleeping a lot seems to be the only recommendation out there.
