Hi everyone. My first post. Against my usual trend of losing at Pokerstars and putting money in i have had a (very modest) success in a MTT and want to take the money out before i lose it all. The options open to me are Neteller/Firepay or a Cheque. Any recommendations welcome! Thanks

open a dollar neteller account and transfer it into there then link your bank account to neteller and transfer into that. the whole process takes approx a week. as i was advised before make sure you open a neteller account in dollars as it works out cheaper with charges etc. by the way welcome to blonde

Welcome to the forum, Im sure you will get some advice from people on here. My advice would be to draw it out on neteller and deposit some of your profit on blondepokers own poker site.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go with Neteller. Doubt I'll play on Blonde though - i think my money would disappear even more quickly than on PokerStars!

Lol Lol .... Dont you believe it, have a look around, we have players from every level on here. From robertHM and Ironside (probably the worst players in the history of the game) to world series of poker bracelet winners. Seriously, this site AND the poker room are equally welcoming to everyone .. whatever their level of play is.

Probably not, PokerStars can be a tough place to play. You should try Blondepoker!

I've always used Neteller to take money out from Pokerstars - the exchange rate always used to be better than the one being offered by Pokerstars direct cheque cashier (though i believe now they are more competitive with the exchange rate they offer). There is a £2 charge everytime you withdraw money from Neteller by cheque (i believe it is only £1 if you do a bank transfer - but i dont like giving my bank account details to anyone online if i dont have to!), there is no charge to withdraw the money by cheque from Pokerstars.
Both processes take approx 1 working week from cashout request to receipt of cheque.

Yes, you should definitely have a $ Neteller account. FirePay is exclusively for US residents with a US bank account Welcome to blonde

yes mate rookie has a pound neteller account and he gets ripped off by the pokersite when they convert his money to pounds before putting in neteller whereas neteller have no charge for conversion
