I find it strange that people always seem to scoff at others showing methods at cheating. Cheating is absolutely disgraceful and any participant should be barred worldwide from all casinos and cardrooms.
But It happens a lot more than u think

Ive not read all of Mr Pinks' post but I think i have the gist of it.
That glasses and ink cheating method definately exists as does alot of other methods.
I really think a lot of people are being naive to the fact that this sort of thing goes on in the poker world, You would be shocked to know how much and by who, albeit it is mainly in their past now.

Remember when large sums of money are involved ,there are certain elements who will do whatever to get a good chunk of it.
I think a lot of people would have their illusions of poker heroes shattered if they knew the truth.

Yes, we know, there are plenty of well-known names with murky pasts in Poker. And all cheats should be banned. But come on, "x-ray tables" is a bit insulting to our intelligence, no?.......

Like I said I didnt read all his post, but was mainly commenting on the fact that people didnt think those glasses existed.
Possibly one of the contributing factors of having the burnt cards

The backs of cards being marked a la "Kaleidoscope" can also explain the 'burning' of cards... right?

Merely suggesting it wouldn't take actual X-ray specs to have prompted the ritual introduction of 'burnt' cards.

Although possibly I am by doing so.

The whole principle behind the burnt cards is to protect from any marked cards, more than likely introduced before xray specs though Wink

I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something, a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.
