How do people like Hendry, Jimmy White and Sherringham get to play in a tournament like that?

You could play in it if you want Sark!  I got a call earlier this week from someone who was asked if any Scots wanted to play.  Unfortunately, you'll probably have to put up the entry fee unlike messrs Hendry, White and Sherringham who are likely on freerolls to add a bit of "colour" to the event.

I passed on the opportunity - my game selection skills might need work, but not that much work.

what a line up though.  I'd be up for it if someone freerolled me Cheesy

Hendry, White etc can afford to pay anyway, they probably want to play against these guys even if they aren't freerolled.

I have fish DNA.  It is strange though, I must be the only fish in the world that doesn't enjoy swimming

Good luck to jeff buffenbarger   who is our own michaganblue

His starting table had roland dewolfe, mike matusow and ram vaswani on it

with 3 tables left he had

seat 1    chris ferguson  ( who he later knocked out)
seat 2    harry demetriou ( who he later knocked out)
seat 3    jennifer tilley
seat 4    howard lederer
seat 5    surinder sunar    ( who he later knocked out)
seat 6    john duthie
seat 7    jeff buffenbarger
seat 8    gus hansen

what a line up and what a comp u can not buy an experience like this
jeff had an amazing world series and is showing his class by coming through a field like this to make the final
the final is on monday from 1pm

p.s. paddypower have jeff at 150-1 to win the ept barcalona and 20-1 to make the final table  the form he is in this is a good bet. he is 100-1 to win the ept in dublin
