Am in Dublin, with the Wm Hil Grand Prix Roadshow Team, we were at The Fitzwilliam all night.

I left at 04.45 to catch the 06.30 Aer Lingus flight to Birmingham.

After several "your flight is delayed by 10 minutes" announcements they came clean at 07.10 & advised "Your Flight is cancelled, & you are booked on the 12.50 flight". The rumour was that one of the Crew failed to show.

The 12.50 flight gets me into 'Brum at 13.45 (in theory). Allowing for collecting my baggage, I should be up at Walsall at about 3pm.

I'm afraid I'll be unwashed & in last night's clothes, as my baggage has been retained by Aer Lingus. I have now left the Airport now & found myself a room for a few hours zzzz's.

I have texted Inthebelly & apologised for missing the football.

It's a bit of a pain, but life throws these little obstacles in our path from time to time.

I apologise if I'm late, & for missing the footie.

xx

Ahh well at least I've had a chance to wash and change. I've only been back in the house half an hour, thankfully my lift is late Smiley I don't think it was a good idea to spend the entire morning out drinking before the comp Sad

That's a sickener mate. Typical.

I have a situation too. My littlun has just thrown up everywhere about half hour ago. My missus is staying home from work so thats ok, but I feel a bit of a git leaving if he's really ill. Thankfully he seems fine now, although you always do feel better just after you've been sick. As long as he's ok in the next half hour or so I'll be on my way.

Hope your flight all works out ok, just don't draw my table if you stink Cheesy
