Apparently the Quizmaster was indeed speaking in English, can someone confirm this?

I'm quite sure we would have got more points if we did not have to try and translate the questions into a proper language before answering.

The only silly questions where the sea question and the abbriviation question.

As for the nessie, did none of you ever have a childhood or was the first work you learnt "raise"!? It was the theme tune to the 80's classic "The Family Ness"

Wolverine does have a metal endo-skeleton but as I explained to my quiz team this is not a mutant power or ability - his abilities being increased healing/regeneration power - the skeleton was grafted onto his body in a military science experiment and he only survived due to his ability to heal quickly.

As for Dungeons and Dragons, well that was on the easy side of easy. You must have been brought up on a diet of ITV!? As I explained to my team, Bobby was the little green dude with the club. Shiela had a purple cloak and went invisible. Hank was the crap wizard with the crooked hat, and Eric was the pussy paladin who would run at the first sign of trouble. I must admit though I have know clue who Jace 7 and the wheeled warriors are!

Which topic is the 10th most viewed as of 07/09/06?

What goes through your head when you're inventing this type of question. Lets not ask the 6th or 7th most viewed topic, that'd be way too easy.

We were gutted, was sure it was Monte Carlo Day 1. Roll Eyes

An abbreviation without any link to money is?

Which colour is not a sea?

How much is that doggy in the window?

Billy, sorry mate, but yer quiz was mince.

strangely enough, if you weren't a child below the age of 13 in the 1980s this question was a complete WHOOOOSSSSSHHHH!

I've handpicked Sheriff for the next quiz, sport and poker and music rounds guaranteed, no minority viewing cartoon rounds either!!!

Tighty even my dad would have gotten tnat question right. You don't have to watch these programs to know their theme tunes. I can sing the theme tune to Neighbours, doesn't mean I've ever watched it! How about The Sullivans? That daytime TV series finished before I was in my teens yet I still know the theme tune. How, when I was always at school?

A good quiz player knows his stuff and it looks like you just can't cut it any more so you're turning on the sour grapes!!!
