This is a joke go that went wrong.

He doesnt mean it.

Very probably, let's hope so. I am sure MPower will clarify the position in due course. He's been a true & loyal friend to me over many years, & I just want this thing to go away & life continue as before. I am in a very awkward spot here. John is a bud, always will be, so are the Mods, but I can't allow them to be insulted like this & say nothing.

As Tikay said, the mods don't do this for money - they do it because they love this place and without mods, it could descend into the chaos seen on a million other forums on the web.

I don't think Blonde is a goldmine right now, ready to spit out money like a malfunctioning fruit machine. Tikay assured us that the new Ferrari he turned up in at BB3 was borrowed from a friend and he kindly took time out from browsing through a yacht brochure to post on this thread and clarify things.

Once he's finished this morning's meeting with Roman Abramovich and the Sultan of Brunei, I'm sure he'll be back on here attending to our needs.

When I read it, I thought that the main post was mocking those that think the Mods are doing it for the money (with the inclusion of the tuppence/sell your soul to the devil comments).. and the title was just a play on the mods vs (punk) rockers movement, with no insult meant

Anyways,  the mods and Tikay know what the vast majority think of their dilligence on here <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

best wishes

Hmmm, I am at a loss for words trying to understand the thinking behind this original post.  However, if the scenario where blondepoker came into a nice windfall which allowed the shareholders to make a financial gain and they chose to reward the mods for all the work they have put into this site, I will be applauding and saying "well done and it is nice to see people making money the old fashioned way - from putting in the hours to deliver a high quality service"!!!!!

After Saturdays cash game I'm not sure he's buying anything!

'tis true, I did my bo**ocks, big time.

I got a steal past Pab & it went to my head! True to form, he ended up with all the money, & I did plenty. And a set of Tens against Dingdelll's flopped nuts did not help......And a flopped flush against Chili's flopped nut flush, beautifully diguised, added to the woe. And when the Thewster Raiaed it up & I caught two pair on a 4-5-6 flop, how could I put him on 2-3?

But I bluffed one past Pab, & that's the main memory. Skint, but happy, a phyrric victory if ever there was one.

This must be a backfired joke!!!
Mpower is a well respected poster and I believe person.

I think everyone on this forum respects the effort ALL the Mods put in, which makes this THE best forum around.

I do really REALLY hope this is a backfired Joke and hope Mpower comes on later to clarify.

If this first post was about anyone else it would be deleted ASAP, but all power to the Mods for leaving it up and keeping it open.

....
Tikay seems to say on regular basis how they didn't start either the forum or the poker room to make oodles.

In the absence of oodles has anybody considered paying the mods in noodles?

More bad puns in this thread than you would expect in The Sun newspaper

well ... I was gonna ignore this post and put it down to the drunken ramblings of someone who was upset at not coming to the bash.

But after some thought, perhaps we should offer him the chance to become a mod himself .... perhaps if he actually ever turned up at a blonde Bash and saw how fkin hard everyone works to make sure he can just turn up, play some cards, have a beer and socialise.. he might not be so quick to criticise.

I cant think what you hoped to achieve by posting this Jon, I am extremely dissapointed by your actions, however you intended them to come across.
