exactly. I have heard enough about players who are "fans through and through" if you are a through and through fan and you play at the highest level you will not go meet another club behind your clubs back. It is incredibly rude and does not speak well for a true fan of the club.

and to be honest...if you are a true fan and play for one of the biggest clubs (who can still win throphies as Chelsea are not invincible and I would not be surprised if ManU pip them to the title this year..although Ruud is a big loss IMO) you don't leave that club to play for the direct competition. I can understand why someone would want to play in a different league but to leave like this and just go because you want more dosh is disrespectfull to every fan at the club and a true fan wouldn't do it.

I'm sorry Lord Kivchester but you cannae compare that **** Campbell to the Cole saga. Cole signed a new contract last year so that Arse could sell him for a profit or at least had some weight in negotiations. ****ball is a lying piece of shit, not only did he lie to us and lose us £15-£20million but he lied to Arse as well.

when campbell came to us, he was out of contract and could go where he likes, we didnt tap him up or approach him whilst still in contract.

As for the no loyality in football comment i have to disagree to a certain degree. campbell gave you 9 years of his career which in football terms is a hell of alot. dennis bergkamp gave us 11, vieria 9 and henry signed when evrybody thought he was off to barca.... me included. on the other hand i do know what you are saying, cole, carrick to name 2
