just received an invite to a (younger) friend's birthday celebrations.  He is planning a meal, followed by bowling and a club.  Before I realised what was happening I had replied saying I would be up for the meal and bowling. 

I might have to start planning my mid-life crisis....

feel even worse now - just emailed another friend to see if she's going.  She said she's going to meet us at the club later and skip the 'boring' bits Sad
