And here's the man himself, well aware that these swings of fortune often come into play for and against you in long tournaments... "All that experience and solid play, and then..."

Andreas Hagen, who somewhere along the line had managed to get himself rather precariously short stacked, got all the chips in against a nearly equal stack with .  A middling hand, yes, but not when your opponent has and the flop's ...
Turn:    ("A good card for me" says Hagen, and he's right, a nine now splits it and only the final 6 outdraws him)
River:

And he's now up to, at a guess, 12,000.

Here are Matt and Nick showing off their war wounds, although I am tempted to start a caption comp for this one:

How about, "Charades, one word, carpet?  I give up."

This rather camouflaged player is Peter Roche, who was down to 11,000 five minutes before his dinner break, and at 22,000 when the break started.  A mercurial and fearless tourney player, the same thing could happen again at any moment.  But I'm down the hall in the press room.

Don't believe a word of it.  Snoopy's Original Joke Creation Mechanism is rusty at the best of times.  I think he wanted to say it was "all turning sour" after he lost a pot.  Too late.

How about "He didn't deliver on time?"

Nevermind, the cream always rises to the top.  scared
