I think he's been pretty clear.

He is saying some guy in a casino told him he'd won the Irish open.  He's not disputed that the guy in the picture won it this year, but that is not the bloke he met.  So, he wants to know who won it in 2004 and 2005 to see if one of them is the guy he met at the casino.
