I'm going to sign in 2nite but they confirmed the obvious that you do need to be there to sign in, or else i would of. There are approx 77 seats with 28 taken and quite an interest being shown.

Hi all......first post, so be gentle..... Grin

Where can I get details of this tournament? The Gala website doesn't even acknowledge having a card room as far as I can see. As neither of the Grosvenor casinos have card rooms (again, based on their website), I thought Leeds was a desert as far as poker is concerned.

Would a £50 tourney be a bit ambitious for someone who has never played live?

And thank you for all the laughs over the last couple of weeks.  Even though I have no idea who any of the characters are, I've been 'lol'ing and 'rofl'ing with alarming frequency! You have a remarkable community here.

Cheers,

Not really cos it's a freezout. As long as you can comfortably afford the £50.

Thanks for the welcome Snoopy/Red-Dog/ Robert Smiley

Still trying to pluck up courage to go and make a fool of myself....TK's comments about the people at Nottingham (?) are a bit offputting, not to mention intimidating, for a 'virgin'.

Does anyone know what the opening chip and blind structure will be at the Leeds freezeout?

Would love to play in it but only if the blind structure gave me chance to settle into it.

Hope soneone can help

If no one knows exactly, can anyone give me an indication of what the strcutures are typically in a freeze out game, is it like online, 1500 chips 10/20 blinds to start??
