what is it with people on here at the moment?

this forum used to be a good place for discussion on a varied number of topics.always friendly and constructive.

but imo its changing.

now its getting to the point that if you dont agree or contradict  the original poster they abuse your post and views.

its getting to the stage now when i feel i cant be bothered to contribute to a discussion for fear of being ridiculed or my posts abused by other posters.

one of my posts tonight was dismissed as piss poor and lacking substance just because i disagreed with another posters comments.

also this week my son rookie has been abused by a long time member via pm calling him among other things a c*nt.
completley unneccessary imo!

come on blondes lets keep this place a nice place to visit and a place we can have a discussion on any subject without having fear that what we write might be abused by others.

I think the reason i got pissed off it becasue i bothered to outline why I didnt think you was correct on a certain issue and you decided to not bother responding but make a cheap joke. Kinda made me think why bother to actually type something other than a cheap joke. It works both ways.

If I upset you then I am sorry, but respecting people works both ways.

Instead of the next blonde gathering being call blonde bash 4 can we call it: blonde bash 'em up!

we all turn up and hit the people we dont like round the head with various types of fish; haddock, cod, whatever you like really, lets keep it civilised though people, no sharks or anything over 3 feet!!!

Given blondes rapid rate of growth, I think it's incredible that the atmosphere has not changed greatly. It is inevitable that a few more spats will develop, but the tone of this thread shows that the 'blonde ethos' is very much alive.

I think the mods and members do a great job of keeping the general atmosphere friendly and constructive.

Without the good nature and common sense of the members, we would have an impossible job, even if we had 50 moderators.
