What exactly are you objecting to and how is it cheating?

I assume suzanne is objecting to someone saying they have KK in the chat box before going all-in.

I can't see how that is cheating myself. Its up to you whether you believe him or not. If you have aces you are going to call him either way.

I made the same assumption, but I want to know why Suzanne thinks it is cheating.

To me this is just pure speech play - he probably had 66 lol

But I believe that on some poker sites, their T & C's state that you are not allowed to talk about your hand while a pot is in progress.

I find it unlikely that he had had KK anyway. I doubt it made any difference to the way the hand worked out.
I had always believed that you were (only) allowed to talk about your hand in poker when you were heads up.

I guess you could ask their online support for clarification on the rules here and let us know.

Discussing hands while the game is in progress is cheating.

No it isn't.
I think grosvenor have a rule that if you actually name your own cards it is an offense, but naming anything else is fine.

no its not cheating. I have done this on occasion and cant see a problem with it.

Also a good one is where its likely players will play the board with a full house to say something along the lines of split pot lol then oush all in with 4 of a kind .

also depends what happened the hand before as well. Many a time people are discussing the cards they were holding in the previous hand while a hand is taking place.

but then there have been occasions where people have said things like that in the chat box before making a move - i always treat it with a pinch of salt anyway - if he really did have kings surely he wants action from the short stack in the big blind.

This is true - all you need to do is check the T&C's of the site you are playing on and if it is the case then report it.
