WTG Poppet! - 2nd in the $1500 guaranteed

Poppet, account having been emptied for all of its 1$, deposited £5 in her blonde account yesterday morning.

After winning a small 3 table $10 tournament that afternoon for $113, her first MTT win (aside from freerolls), we both entered the $1500 GTD f/o for $20 in the early hours of the morning...

Never having played an MTT tournament with a buyin higher than $10, 82 runners with a prize pool of $1640. She only almost bloody won it! $328 for 2nd place, a bit unlucky with the outdraws but she had more than her fair share of the luck.

I thought this merited being posted in the general general forum  because I think its a great achievement Seemed to be composed throughout, no fear!

I can't quite believe how well I've done today, I'm over the moon.

Yes ladies and gentlemen please make note of the time and day when you saw this - just as people ask "what were you doing when you heard that Kennedy had been shot?" in twenty years time people willl say "do you remember what you were doing when you read that MikkyT was a star?"......
