Hi Simon,

Plans not finalised yet, but we will do Live Updates on the Main Event for sure.

Do you find the Live Updates "interesting", enjoyable, or just handy? We need to try & get feedback, as we are trying to decide whether to continue with them. They are hard work, though fun to do, but at the moment they dont earn blonde any money, but they do attract viewers to blonde.

We have some talks lined up with a few potential sponsors, so maybe that will solve the problem, but feedback - honest feedback, good or bad - is important.

So what's good about them, & what's bad about them?

Feedback, Blondepoker updates are the best thing on the net since poker and porn

you could only improve them by talking about me winning.

seriously though, they are done by someone who knows poker and knows the players and its a crying shame that you dont get paid for all the hard work you put in

Blondepoker live updates are the original and the best, now we've had them we would be gutted to lose them, must be hard though, I struggle to stay alert enough to read em.

long may you reign. Regards, RED-DOG

Hmm, do you EVER win, Red?

But thanks for your kind words Tom, the cheque is in the post....

Live Updates are not original to blonde, PokerVoice used to do them, Poker Network still do in Aussie, & of course pokerineurope still do.

But I think ours are different in that we encourage & get viewers to interact with us, & that brings them to life, & fills the gaps in the "boring bits".

Time will tell, but thanks again for your comments.

DO NOT ABANDON LIVE UPDATES!!!!!
I know I speak for many people on here when I say it is one of the main attractions of the site. When I can't get to events at least I know whos doing what. Keep up the good work guys, I know it must be hard work but there are benefits (sponsorship, spending time with your peers and of course the kisses from Isabelle Wink )

Tournament updates are  the biggest asset of the whole site in my opinion.

You can get news and stuff at many forums and such sites.

Site traffic must show a big rise when the covered events are on i'd think.

Most of us, i'm sure, realise it's hard work.

Keep it up please.

Hi Tony

Got to agree with the others, the live updates are very good.

I know it's got to be very hard work and I am sure you would rather be playing, or chatting, or watching, or drinking, or etc....

I cant get about at the moment else I would be happy to help you keep this service up, maybe if some of the others who appreciate what you do, could help you out at times.

Anyway good luck with the site.

Bob

ps. I really enjoyed reading that article about you.

I aint planning on playing at the Vic this week Tony but I will gladly come down and do the updates for you. You must keep this service up nomatter what- Your fans have spoken. Dont know if you run alexa software or something similar but to optimise your audience you need to offer something the others dont- mainly the updates. If you are playing this week and not doing the updates I am happy to help out, even if its via text.

Got to second what everyone else has said. Although I don't post on here much, when I'm stuck in front of the computer griniding it out I love to follow the live updates, and I even read Ironside's posts  Wink. I think if you get rid of the live updates you may find you lose a lot of your site traffic.

I'll be at the Vic this week, and  if you need help posting live updates you can add me to the list of volunteers. Anything to keep me out of the cash games!

The updates are fantastic, the way they are written and the feel for the event helps us wannabe's keep in touch with the action....poker has been crying out for this kind of coverage.

Tony,

The list of top class players that tune in especially on final night shows that everyone from fans to players Know this is the place to be.

I totally agree with the comments of everyone above.

The live updates on here are great. You bring through the personalities of the players
As a newbie to the game, your updates give a real sense of being at the event. It makes you want to play in one of these events.  If it encourages more players to turn up at the tournaments, then surely that is a good thing?
If you were just seeing the result that said that Matey Boy won it again, who would really care about it? With your reports, you feel the twists and turns of the event as it happens.

Hi Tikay,

For people like me (with a 9 to5 job and an interest in poker), the live updates are great. No "downside" to them for us punters. I imagine its a shed load of work for you guys at the event. Maybe if Blonde followers are at future events if they can help out it would ease some pressure?

Keep up the good work guys!

yep, excellent service.
pokernetwork & pokervoice did a great job too, but you guys are operating on a weekly basis now & the banter is great.
if you wanted to improve the service tk, get out the instruction manual for that blonde camera you recently purchased & get a few pics up.
