I sometimes compile pop quizzes and as we seem to have a lot of music lovers on Blonde I thought I'd share a particular one that I put together this afternoon.

Just a bit of fun but it's a selection of 15 clips from songs all of which are related to the game of poker in some way either via the title or artist.  Nothing obscure, should be all well known UK hits.

Spread across the decades although does include one that only those in the  bracket may know.

Should work if you paste the line below in your browser.( rather than just clicking the link  )

PS ......Tracks are split by a noise which should be familiar to those of a certain age who remember the radio 1 roadshows of the 70's and 80's   Grin

That brought back a few memories thanks Smiley

Reckon I've only got 6 right. Couple others I know the song but not the band so struggling there. (No. 9 being a case in point: I remember the video featuring a very talented teacher...great song but can't remember the name of the guy/band that performed it...oh and No.15. Remember the title and it being a cover featuring 'Lindy Leyton' [I think] but can't remember the band....grrrrrr)

Just glad you both managed to get the thing to actually work!  thumbs up

Hey Billy..."ft Lindy Layton" would get you a bonus point down my local !

Nice going Claire considering the lack of vocals in there.

Remember each one has a poker link which might help on the missing ones. (But answers available by pm if you want Smiley )

Oh and the  one did get to #3 in 1958 !
( phew this anorak's warm! )
