I have taken some time off from online poker, have not played since april at any online site!

I played my 1st comp on Benny Hill and I won it easily, but I forgot how upset people get when you knock them out Cry

The way I play involves the fact that people always say I gamble to much, but do they take the time to think about the #'s and the situations Huh? DC just said he should have called for value w/ the Q7 on the poker den last night, I thought the same thing!

When I won the WSOP PLH I had 2 "pros" tell me I played terrible as they hit the rail, on Benny Hill yesterday I had 2 guys tell me the same thing, one typed chat and would not stop. Why act like "Phil H", why tell a bad player he is bad?

I love when players consider me bad or lucky, They let down their guard and they do not play their best against you, please realize there are more than 1 way to play poker.(I dont know if some do)

What do you think about "knockout chat" and do you chat at the person who sends you to the RAIL Huh?

I always try to say "nice hand" or "well played" when I get knocked out, but if someone has a go at me when I knock them out, I can't resist baiting them

Whether it be on-line or live play once I'm out, I'm out. I never mention it to anyone. If I think I've played badly  I will try to self analyse, otherwise it's all about the next game. You pays your money, you take your chances, as far as I'm concerned you can play how you like!!
Strangely enough I played against a guy up in Dundee in the winter who took time out to go thru my game with me.  I took a lot away from that conversation. What was even more amazing was that he was a Yorkshireman and he bought me a beer!!!
I'm sure he had a pretty good result at the WSOP too......lol.

The best baiting seems to be the simple comments. I always find "speak up- I can't hear you from the lobby " usualy gets the blood boiling. A knockout chatfight would be great. Lets have a bracelet for it next year I say  Grin

Table etiquette is one of the most important things to me and I hope my opponents see me as a respectful participant.

I watch in dismay when I see people lowering themselves to berating other players. Do these people have no pride?

There are advantages to adopting styles that opponents consider to be terrible. Just ask Gus Hansen. Would you ever try and nick his blinds?

Nice post Rookie. You responded to my Last Longer Challenge yet? Or are you scared I might find J-4 & get you off a monster again?

In reply to Rookie's question, I find that snoopy has used almost the exact words I would have, we are clearly of one mind. Which is a bit of a worry, to tell the truth......

YOU should be worried Ariston. You are treading on VERY thin ice. If I go off on one, you'll know all about it.
