i understood it would be the start of a new series..but opinion about that is divided in the office here. I thought it was a one-off as well, I'm sure they advertised something else at 9pm next Sunday after it had finished. |

I think it was a one off, but they may have been angling for a series commission as it left the possibility open at the end of this one that there could be one.

There was a 'behind the scenes' on ITV2 afterwards; they said it was a one-off.
The first two seasons of Cracker were unmissable TV; this was good. Good to see all of the original Fitz family actors back; but there always was a high turnover rate for the actors playing the police!
