Poo! Sorry about that guys. Full explanation later, when I get home.

Sorry! Was quite enjoying that.

Well managed to get 2 read out.

It is official Col-Kev, my 5 - 4 off call of your all-in was right, the PNL "Experts" agreed.

I was after advice for a tournament I was in. Due to their technical difficulties I couldn't get the advice needed and now I am out.
Can I sue them & is the brief around?
I would stress that my being out has nothing to do with me playing like a complete and utter @@@@

Harmony here : - Have to say, tis the first time i have seen Malc animated while on PNL, must have been Tikay's youthful influence.

Harmony here - we are getting a rerun of last night's show - I am gutted - Bainn and I were really enjoying our evening with Tikay and Malc... Cry

I agree, whilst 4 hours of watching MTT's, Stt's or cash has its benefits, being told that a realise with AK from late postion is a good thing has limited value. However Poker has a human side a well, poker "players" on the circuit have almost become well known, and the "colour" that is added by talking about the history and players on it is interesting.

One of the reasons the DN's blog was (is) so popular was because it was a current, honest idea of what the famous faces were upto. Its not the fact that he played 3c5c and crushed KK but rather that he played for amounts of money that most players find ridiculous but equally fascinating, and played with a truly interesting group of people.

PNL can deliver that as well, with a UK context, poker for most people is a 2 year phenomenon but the fact that it has a history, is a glimpse back into the past that we can only see from stories from other players.  Whilst talking over an MTT this is not possible to get across, but a 2 hour show with the correct guests could cover much of this, or at least give a glimpse of a lifestyle that most of us will never accomplish.

Oh dear......

Thanks for the rash of e-Mails guys, but all to no avail in the end.

"The Gallery" eventually said we'd have to "pull" the show. It seems that the Sponsors like to see "their" tables on the show, and as there were network difficulties in relaying the action, it was eventually decided to re-run last nights show - at least that way, the Sponsors would get what they paid for. For Malc & I to blather on for 4 hours was going to be an interesting challenge for us - more so for the viewers?! - but I reckon we could have spun a yarn or two.

And I set a PNL record. On my first night in the Chief Pilots Seat, the show got pulled after an hour. Another notch on the CV.

Haven't had the chance to sit and chat with you for hours yet, but if you have tales anything like Malcolm's I'm sure I wouldn't be bored.  I might only be 35, but what ye lads sometimes forget...the 'old timers' stories can not only be entertaining but educational.  Pay attention between yer yawns and ya might learn something...God knows I have.  Don't tell anyone, but turns out I enjoy 'ole timers' tales.

I think it would certainly have been enjoyable, shame it did not happen.
