sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere, but i've not got time to search through I'm afraid as I'm at work (and being good!).

I'm going up to Glasgow for a week in November, but haven't firmed up dates yet.  I'd like to arrange it so that I can take part in the next APAT event, and just wondered if anyone can confirm:

a) that it's in Glasgow and b) when the dates are

Thanks

We hope to firm up the Venue this week Claw. We did say we would last week, but I regret to say, we ran into some technical problems with Disabled Access which caused us some headaches, but, with any luck, we hope to get this issue resolved today or tomorrow.

Please bear with us.

from Tikay on the APAT Scotland thread:

Wow! Some cringeworthy stuff in here......

Look, please don't speculate.

We made it known last weekend that it was likeky our next event woud be in Glasgow. Wales was scheduled next, but we are still working on Capacity constraints in Welsh venues. We did not name a Venue, just "Glasgow". I have visited the prospective venue, & now we are negotiating the details.

Details are important - very important.

One of these detail is disabled Access.

It is a matter we are trying to resolve right now. We think we can solve it.

But if we can't sort Disabled Access, well, we can't go there, can we? It's as simple as that.

So please don't speculate further. We hope to be in a position to make an announcement later this week. There are a number of details to resolve, & they are all negotiable - except Disabled Access, & we are currently looking at a way to solve that.

Thanks.
