Just found out I didn’t get the new job I spent £250 travelling to London for two interviews for (damn you Branson and your expensive but reliable service). Had to tell the wife who had her heart set on a return to the south so we could be close to our families. All those online Yankee fish that where paying for lives little extras are to be prevented from donating. Oh and I support West Ham, somebody please cheer me up.

That may have been true in the past, but we now have a 100% record over the last two matches.

Sorry to hear about the result of the job interviews, Kevin.  Can really understand the disappointment for Karen and yourself.  But maybe that was not the job for you and there truly is a more appropriate one awaiting you in the near future. Often things happen for a reason though it is so difficult to see that at the time.  I know it is easy for me to say so but I do have reason to believe things happen for a purpose, and for the best. (My life is far better now than it was a few years ago. I have a lot to thank Bainn for!) Hopefully you will soon get to live closer to the folks again - lovely picture you posted up of Rebecca, by the way. Meanwhile enjoy your lovely family, your poker, your poker-gender-id experiment(!) and continue to post amusing and interesting topics on the forum, cos we enjoy reading them. thumbs up
