that's it.  busto.  I guess I've saved myself  in the long run.  If I can't win at $3 and $5 tables online there's not much hope for me in a £50 live comp.

Not always true, yer talking about different kettles of fish.

I know some boys who kick ass in live MTTs and can't play online STTs for bubble gum. (and vice versa, but that category includes me, so I'll be quiet)

I am absolutely crap when it comes to live MTTs and much better at online STTs. Try the live comp, you might just suprise youself... good luck x

I'm just completely fed up of the whole thing now to be honest.  I think I am at where Suzanne was at a little while ago.  I'm just going to stick to league games and freerolls for a bit.

Hang in there Claw.  Don't be too put off my this bad run, everyone suffers from them but it does make you feel like it's just you when it's happening to you.

You'll get it back.   You can't compare a $3 stt to a £50 mtt either, it could be just what you need to get back in the zone again.

Good luck and hope to see you back playing soon Smiley

thanks Graham.  I know what you are saying makes sense - if I had been the other side of every bubble I've gone out on in the past couple of days I know it would be a completely different story.  I think by posting on here with my intentions I've given myself too much to live up to and now feel like a failure who is completely rubbish at poker Sad

funnily enough, I've got the week off work this week to work on some self-esteem issues (but I won't bore you all with the details), and I think a lot of it is having crossover into various areas of my life, including the old online poker.

I'll shut up now before I get too heavy Smiley

on a postive note, I've seen a couple of freerolls this afternoon which I'm going to play, along with the bounty comp tonight, with the sole intention of enjoying them - no pressure to cash, and if I do it's a bonus.

I decided at the beginning of the month to just play freerolls on blonde (maybe the odd league game if i can), i have all these points so i may as well use them.
I'm not running too well of late and this way i can't see my bankroll dwindle, it can only go up!

Maybe this freeroll will be good for you. A few weeks ago I didn't have any money and I was playing poorly then I transferred £5 into my account and played a $10 MTT, won that and then played a $20 MTT and came 2nd... I was playing well that day..and lucky..but now I have a reasonable bankroll to play with and it's all from that £5 deposit, so it might all change for you Claire, and I hope it does.

Good luck xxx

If you're not enjoying it then take a break, I always find I enjoy it way more when I start playing again.
